You don't want to go to a random place, you want to go to the best places in town.
That's why our ranking shows first your friends favorite places.
Your friends votes are much more reliable than other users' reviews. Therefore, their votes count much more in your personal ranking.
Nevertheless, if you do not have any friends in a given city, we calculate the community ranking adding the votes of all the MadeinLocal users.
A community ranking is not as powerful as your social ranking, still it is better than no ranking at all...

We recommend you the quality ranking because quality rules! But from time to time you can use the hot deals filter in order to get 20%, 30% or even 50% discounts. More info
Powerful filters
On the right column, you will find powerful filters that will help you sort out the results by type of cuisine (french, italian, asian, etc)or equipment (free wi-fi, etc).
Even when you apply filters (style, equipment, etc), we always order the results by quality!
Our commitment to the quality ranking is essential because quality is the key of local commerce.
On the other hand, we realized that new restaurants and bars needed a chance to build their reputation in order to go up in the ranking. Therefore, we added the hot deals feature that allows new restaurants to be visible on the website from day one.
The merchant makes here a considerable effort on his prices in order to attract active MadeinLocal users that will vote for him and share reviews with their friends.

- You must be at least 2 people.
- You must buy one (or more) paying drinks per person.
- You must pay cash.
- You must write a MadeinLocal review when back at home.

Social life in the real world!
We encourage users to go out and enjoy local life in the city best places and events.
In order to help you make sure you don't stay for too long away from real world leasure, we have a social points system that will help you measure your real-life social activity. We call this feature the social bar-o-meter.
Your social bar-o-meter is given by the number of social points you have. The more points you get, the higher the social status you will get. Initial situation is Freshman - 0 points.

Every sunday there we remove 10% of your social points in order to make sure you don't having fun.

Cet endroit souterrain est une grosse boîte sur Lausanne. Pas trop mon style pour être honnête mais si tu habites sur Lausanne il faut y faire un tour une fois. L'accès se fait par un long couloir dans la galerie souterraine qui passe sous la rue qui sépare le cheval blanc du pont chauderon.
Le cult est vraiment la boite de Lausanne qui m'a le plus (et le plus souvent) déçu. Accueil et organisation mauvais lors de grosse affluence, ce qui a lieu le plus souvent pour des soirées étudiantes. Étant amateurs de musique électronique je ne jugerais pas les soirées d'autres styles spécifiques que je n'ai d'ailleurs jamais fréquentées. Même si le club a tenté de programmer de bonnes soirées house c'était à chaque fois que j'y étais un fiasco (par exemple, comment peut on avoir Ian Carey et une boite vide ?!?). Il doit y avoir un soucis dans leur communication car plusieurs fois j'ai découvert après la soirée qu'un DJ qui aurait peu m'intéresser était passé au Cult Club.
Sinon que se soit vide avec de la bonne musique ou plein avec de la soupe all style (qui change de style toute les 45sec, totalement insupportable) l'ambiance reste au plus bas. Peut être qu'avec leur nouvelle configuration et la Red Zone il trouveront un nouveau public mais à mon avis sans une nette amélioration de la programmation la boite aura de la peine à perdre sa mauvaise réputation.
une fois et c'est suffisant... il n'a pas l'aire d'un club ou tu peux t'amuser bien ... il n'y a pas bcp de monde, et l'atmosphère c'est pas trop cool ...
